1. What Khidma is
Khidma is a record-keeping app for households in Kuwait and the GCC that employ domestic workers. It documents salary payments, advances, contracts, leave, and related records, and produces tamper-evident summaries of what you record. Khidma is offered by Khidma ("we," "us").
2. What Khidma is not
Khidma is a documentation tool. It does not transfer money, hold funds, or process payments between you and your workers. It does not provide legal advice. Records you create in Khidma reflect what you enter; you are responsible for their accuracy.
3. Your account
You need an account to use Khidma. Keep your sign-in credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and legally able to employ domestic workers to use the app for its intended purpose.
4. Your records
You own the records you create. We store them securely on your behalf and don't sell them or use them for advertising. Our Privacy Policy ( usekhidma.com/privacy) explains what we collect and why.
Workers you document may confirm receipt of payments through pages you share with them; their confirmations become part of your records.
5. Honest use
You agree to enter records truthfully and use Khidma lawfully. Don't use the app to misrepresent payments, harass anyone, or violate the rights of workers or others. We may suspend accounts used for fraud or abuse.
6. Subscriptions
Some features require a paid subscription (Khidma Pro), billed through your Apple ID. Prices are shown before purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms.
7. Tamper-evidence, honestly stated
Khidma's records are protected by cryptographic sealing that makes alterations detectable. This protects the integrity of records as entered; it cannot verify that what you entered was true.
8. Availability
We work to keep Khidma reliable, but we can't promise uninterrupted service. We may update, change, or discontinue features.
If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your records.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Khidma is provided "as is." We're not liable for indirect damages or for disputes between you and your workers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Khidma after changes means you accept them.
